MORGANTOWN — Yvette Marie (Allen) Addison, 61, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at Morgantown Health Care-Inn, Morgantown, Ind. She was a resident of Morgantown and a former resident of Muncie.

She was born July 9, 1947, in Anderson, to the late Earl Edwin and Margaret (Swallow) Allen.

She was a 1965 graduate of Madison Heights High School and was a homemaker.

She was a devoted mother of one daughter, Melissa M. (Kenneth) Seals of Gaston; and one son, Robert Addison, who preceded her in death. She was a loving grandmother of six grandchildren, Nathaniel, Elisabeth, Abigail and Philip Seals of Gaston and Sean and Sarah Addison of Murfreesboro, Tenn.

She is also survived by a brother, Edwin “Skip” (Lynda) Allen of Anderson; one nephew, Bryan (Mary) Allen; three great-nephews, Christian, Brandon and Joshua Allen; and a great-niece, Bethany Allen.

She was preceded in death by two nephews, Tony and Timothy Allen.

Pastor Eric Morgan will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at Anderson Memorial Park Chapel in Anderson. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
