Currently, Monte is living in Channing, MI in the upper peninsula with, wife Arlene. As of 2004, Monte has two children, Loren Jason and Montica Ann and between them they have thirteen (13) grandchildren.

HI Peggy ,well yes it is Beautiful up here, lots of
wilderness, the county we live in is about the size of Madison County, but
only about 24000 people...we are located about 25 miles North of Iron
Mountain, MI...which is 100 miles North of Green Bay Wisconsin
As far as what i do... hmmm well seems there's always
something,,, fishing. travel, I'm a Ham radio operator, (along with my
wife Arlene) been a ham since 1960..i did some work for the National
Weather service as an observer, and, spent about 10 years..1979-1989 as a
police officer in Frankton IN
we keep busy,,,
