Events

Friday Evening - October 16, 2015

What: Meet and Greet - Buy a drink and or some food and enjoy visiting with classmates.

October 16, 2015 - 6pm till you decide

We wish we could offer a tour of our old school, but alas, it is no more. So, why not drive around and see how Anderson has changed and have lunch at some old haunts that still exist like Frisch's or the Lemon Drop. Other nice places to eat (not chains) include Eva's Pancake House on Broadway in North Anderson, Grace's Place on north Broadway and The Nile Restaurant near Anderson University. You might also want to visit Good's Candy Shoppe on the south side of Anderson not far from our old school at 1423 West 53rd Street. They have excellent candy and ice cream. There is also the Madison County Historical Society in one of the old bank buildings at 15 West 11th Street across from the Paramount. And, of course, there is Mound's State Park and beautiful Shadyside Park with trails around a small lake. Hoosier Park offers horse racing, food, and a casino to enjoy. Please enjoy your day!

Tour of our old school, now the new
Anderson High School
Saturday Afternoon - October 17, 2015 - 2 pm

What: Tour of Anderson High School
The only part of this building that is left of our old school is the gym. Still, should be interesting, but kind of sad too. Sadly, this event did not happen because of mis communication.

Park in the north parking lot, the one closest to the outdoor pool and meet either outside or in the lobby of this beautiful north entrance.

Main Event...
50th Class Reunion Celebration
Saturday Evening - October 17, 2015

What:  Main Event of the Weekend:
Gourmet Buffet Dinner, Cash Bar, Music, Dancing & lots of time for visiting and dancing with old and new friends from 1965.

Where: Anderson Country Club

When: Saturday, October 17, 2015 - 6pm to 12pm

Cost: $60 per person (This includes a gourmet buffet dinner and dessert, cash bar, music, DJ/dancing, plus all the rentals for Friday and Saturday evening, decorations and the many supplies needed to make this a memorable event for you.)

Who: Classmates and any interested friends and family are welcome to attend.

Dress: Nice Casual to Dressy - whatever you prefer.

Class Group Photo: A group class photo will be taken before dinner and ready for pickup after dinner, payable that night to the photographer. (cash, check or charge at the event - $20)
